Clear5 Feedback

Well, it’s been about two months since we launched our Clear5 acne product to replace the former All-in-1 formula, and we’ve received most of our new feedback in the last month. I really do want to hear what people have to say about the product, both former All-in-1 users and first-time customers, so if you have any comments, suggestions, criticisms or success stories, be sure to let us know through our comments form at Acne Vitamins.

I’m glad to say the vast majority of our feedback has been very positive. We’ve also received a few good suggestions, and from these as well as our own research, we’ll be continuing to improve our acne fighting formula. In fact, later this month we’ll most likely be updating Clear5 again to include Chromium and Selenium, as well as slightly tweaking the ratio of existing ingredients to make sure that they do not conflict with vitamin B5 absorbance (while still preventing deficiencies). Clear5 is still very new, so keep the feedback coming! We’ll be updating the acne treatment testimony page again in a few days with the best success stories from January.

What Happened?

OK, I don’t mean to detract from the Steelers in any way, but that was definitely the worst Super Bowl I’ve seen in a long while. It was a game determined more by poor calls than by the skill of the players, and that’s just not supposed to happen. The penalty for pushing-off in the end zone that cost the Seahawks their first touchdown was a blatant miss-call (both men had their arms extended, and both the commentators and halftime reviewers admitted “that was a touchdown” after looking at the replay). The Steeler’s first touchdown never broke the line. Then there was the call of holding that turned a 1-yard-line pass into a turnover - a penalty that, again, clearly never happen from watching the replay. Honestly, I’m a Tampa Bay fan and don’t really care about either of these teams, but I would be seething if I was from Seattle, as that game was robbed from them by calls that were bad enough to make a non-fan (such as myself) think the game was rigged.

Also, was it just me or were the commercials few and lacking this year. Perhaps ABC was trying to overcharge, or maybe more companies are realizing that Super Bowl commercials don’t actually generate sales, but there seemed to be a distinct lack of variety and an awful lot more commercials for the network’s own programs than usual (this is usually a sign that they couldn’t fill that space with a more profitable add). I’ve read elsewhere that SB commercials are more to impress the shareholders than to actually generate sales, although a good add may still be effective for the right product (movies like Independence Day come to mind) or purpose (such as simply growing brand recognition). Of course, Budweiser was still out in force, as well as a few others such as Pepsi, but there weren’t too many adds that actually stuck with me or made me laugh this time. Since the game was such a farce, we could have used them.

Water and Clear Skin

One of the most essential ingredients for any clear skin regimen is often one of the most overlooked: simply drinking water. On a few occasions, I’ve even seen water touted as an acne cure on a some popular skin care message boards. While this may be a bit of an exaggeration, more water may be exactly what some people need in order to get and maintain clear skin.

Water is essential for almost everything that goes on in your body. Heck, your body is mostly made up of water. It’s recommended that we all drink an average of 8 glasses of water each day, but how many of us actually keep up with this?

Water is naturally essential to maintain the health of your skin. When your skin cells are dehydrated, they lose their elasticity and become more vulnerable to damage. Water helps keep your skin cells firm and your pores supple — without it your skin can start to resemble the dry cracked surface of a desert wasteland. Remember that dry skin is easily irritated and is often an invitation for acne.

Besides the beneficial effects of water used in chemical reactions, it also helps flush out the toxins and bacteria that your body wants to get rid of. Frequently drinking enough water makes sure that your body can efficiently eliminate harmful wastes that could otherwise build up in your skin and elsewhere. Water is much more effective at doing this than anything else you can drink. And let’s face it, if you’re not drinking water, you’re probably drinking something else that you could do without.

A good side effect of vitamin B5 acne treatment is that you end up drinking a decent amount of water to take your pills. So if you’re on B5 you’re probably already drinking enough. Either way, do your skin a favor and make sure you get those 8 glasses of water every day.

Acne-Vitamins Merger?

Well, I received an intriguing business offer earlier today through our feedback form, and it seems like an offer I can’t refuse. Could a merger be in the near future for Acne-Vitamins.com? Here’s a copy of the message:

—————————————————————————

Name: Chuck

City: Norrisville

State: Pain

Comments: Dear Acne-Vitamins.com,
I wanted to make a business proposal. I can cure people’s acne too, but I don’t need any pills. I make facial blemishes hide forever with a good, long glare. If their acne is particularly stubborn, I can kick them in the face and when they are in awe of my sheer awesomeness, their zits and pimples will explode never to return.

If you are interested in my proposal and in offering my services through your site, you can find me by following the path of destruction, the trail of dead, or following the sound of the wailing lamentations of women!!!

Sincerely,

Chuck N.

Now clearly, Mr. Norris’ services could prove to be a valuable addition to our site. However, if I know Mr. Norris, he won’t be satisfied with merely being a partner. I’m afraid this merger could quickly turn into a (very) violent corporate takeover, and I’m not about to surrender so easily. Chuck may be famous for his roundhouse kicks, but it so happens that I have four blackbelts myself (the funny thing is this is true), and I’m quite well known to have a deadly sidekick.

Like most disagreements between logical people, this can only be settled one way: by a fight to the death! I will have to challenge Mr. Norris for leadership of Acne-Vitamins.com….and the world! (Hope and pray that our battle does not tare a hole in the fabric of the space-time continuum!)

*yes, this was an actual email, and visit chucknorrisfacts.com if you’ve been living in a hole for the past 2 months.
