Comments: From early on in college (Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH), I knew that I wanted very much to own a business. I’ve always been the type of person that likes to analyze every store I walk into and imagine ways to do things better. My original business plans did not involve the internet at all, but rather an Italian gelato cafe. However, the low start-up costs of the internet soon drove me to start making websites and give up on brick-and-mortar for the time being. My first online business was actually a dating site. I had a unique and pattent-able idea that I hoped would give the site a competitive edge, but I soon learned that no matter how revolutionary your site is, it takes a lot to get noticed on the net.
My first site soon failed, but I learned a lot in the process (especially about what not to do). I took a brief detour into Real Estate, which I found that I utterly hated ^_^, and ended up back in e-commerce. This time I did my homework and looked at my website from many more angles, especially that of the search engines. SEO is a never-ending education, and I’ve still got a long way to go, but simply knowing the basics has already proved a huge advantage. I chose B5 acne supplements because of my own previous success using them. At the time I started using B5, there were no “B5 for acne” sellers. It was simply a cult phenomenon fueled by internet message boards. Making the jump to time-release made sense, and so Acne-Vitamins.com was born. I’ve got plenty of plans for how to improve our offerings, so hopefully as the site grows you’ll be seeing some exciting changes.
